Pablo Contrisciani
Pablo Contrisciani is an Argentinean artist residing in Miami since 1998. He makes installations and contemporary abstract paintings, exploring color vibration and the physical act of painting. Investigating materiality, gesture, scale, and movement, to research how intention and perception converge to create an expressive language of transformation.
He earned his MFA in Painting at the National University of Fine Arts of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He has participated in several solo and group exhibitions locally, nationally, and internationally. He has exhibited recently at Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA), Wynwood 28, Laundromat Art Space, Arch Gallery & Karpio-Facchini Gallery, Miami; Morgan Lehman Gallery, New York; Light Contemporary, London; Mackey Gallery, Houston; Solar Art Gallery, East Hampton. and Oolite Arts, Miami.
He exhibited internationally at Museo Sivori, Buenos Aires. Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes de La Plata (Buenos Aires), Museo Municipal de La Plata (Buenos Aires), Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires Argentina and Casa Argentina at Rome, Italy.
He has also exhibited in the Art Fairs: Scope London; Scope New York and Scope Miami; Art Toronto; FIAC Paris; MACO Mexico, Art Miami, Art Context, Aqua, Art Wynwood, Art Palm Beach, Arte Americas. & Superfine, Miami.
His work has been reviewed in publications such as Art in America, Art Nexus, Arte al Dia, New Times, Miami Herald, and El Nuevo Herald.
His work is at Neiman Marcus permanent Collection at Bal Harbor, Merrick Park, Boca Raton, and Orlando in Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; Short Hills, New Jersey; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Scottsdale, Arizona.
Pablo Contrisciani’s works are held by public and corporate collectors from USA, Latin America, and Europe.
He was selected for the Artist’s Studio Residency Program at Oolite Arts (former Art Center South Florida) in two terms 1998-2006 and 2010-2015.
